Laser Precision results with Cold Calling

A laser lens manufacturer based in Rhode Island, needed to have calling performed on owners of lasers. When a company purchases a laser, it needs to be registered with the United States government. The manufacturer bought a list of these companies, obtained some other industry lists, and then engaged IT'S YOUR CALL to make the cold calls.

Ceri Ruenheck, the owner of IT'S YOUR CALL, met with the executive team and developed a script that would introduce prospects to Meller Optics’ products and services, and qualify them to determine where they were in the sales cycle. Additionally, appointments could be set when appropriate.

Each week, IT'S YOUR CALL would perform 10 hours of calling. When appointments were set, an email and phone call were made to the appropriate contact at our client. The results of all the calls would also be reported at the beginning of the following week. One month of calling secured 4 appointments, and achieved an overall positive response rate of 17.8% (industry standard is 1%-3%).
